CHRISTINE CRAWFORD (Level II Dressage Specialist).
Christine has been a keen equestrian since early childhood. She started riding when she was 6 years old when her Aunts took her to a local riding school in Sydney, NSW. She gained ownership of her first horse when her mother bought it for her at the age of 12 and since then has produced many quality FEI horses.
Christine has a passion for producing and supporting young riders at a highly competitive standard. She has coached people from the age of 6 up to the age of 60 and continues to produce quality competitors in the Dressage arena. Christine is a Level 2 Dressage Specialist coach and is also a qualified coach educator.
Christine is currently campaigning Jazzsong, Kaludah Renoir and Kaludah Jeronimo and enjoys developing the young horses that North Kaludah has bred.
Christoph Hess has commented that Christine did an international standard job training and schooling Northern Simba, who has now left Australian shores and is stabled in Germany with Joern Kubelke.
Christine trained with Ross Bone, learning the skills to successfully break in and commence training of young horses, when she and Jeremy arrived in the Hunter Valley almost 20 years ago. From here she spent time in training with Rozzie Ryan at NSW Equestrian Centre, becoming Rozzie's strapper and long time friend. This is also where she came to know Excellent, a magnificent Grand Prix gelding, whom she later purchased to gain a Grand Prix start with a talented individual.
JEREMY JANJIC (Breaker and Trainer)
Jeremy started riding quite possibly before he could walk. He was born in Mosman, Sydney to a horse family and farm in Oxford Falls. His family bred race horses and his sister is a successful show rider.
Jeremy trained with Ross Bone some 20 years ago where he developed the skills of the Jefferies method for breaking in and schooling young horses.
Jeremy excels in the breaking and training of elite performance horses and has developed horses for a wide repertoire of successful clients such as Ann-Maree Lourey (Byalee Magic), Carolyn Lieutenant (Victory Salute) (both horses are successfully competing at Grand Prix), and Robert Stewart.
Jeremy has worked with many different breeds including Arabians, Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Friesians, and American Saddlebreds. Jeremy enjoys the challenges he faces working with such youngsters and enjoys working in all disciplines.
Jeremy is currently competing successfully with two friesian stallions, Django of Cacheral and Jacana TK, these stallions also stand at North Kaludah, being owned by Dick and Lynn Jenkin of Tashkent Fresians. He also has a fleet of successful young horses that have each gained a solid start to their competition career under the tutelage of Jeremy.
Jeremy and Christine met when Christine kept her horse at Jeremy's family property in Ingleside, Terry Hills. They arrived in the Hunter Valley together to live at the original North Kaludah property, owned by Jeremy's mum, here they developed the skills required to break in horses with Ross Bone. They have been engaged for over 20 years and have worked together throughout these times, dedicating their lives to the horse industry.
