The competition on Sunday, 31st August, 2011 at Alexander Park Dressage Club was a very special event – it was the day that Django of Cacheral (owned by Lynn and Dick Jenkin) and Jeremy competed in their first Grand Prix test. In front of a supportive crowd, Jeremy and Django showed some beautiful piaffe and passage work finishing to big applause. This massive achievement was even more significant as Jeremy has ridden and competed Django since he was broken in as a young colt at North Kaludah and it was also Jeremy’s first Grand Prix test. We are all very proud of their efforts and expect them both to have a very successful Grand Prix career.
Christine and Jazzsong had a super weekend of competition with an equal 1st in the Intermediate1 with 66.5% and a 3rd in the Prix St George. The rest of our team also had a great weekend. Their results included Kaludah Reveal & Jeremy placing 4th in the Preliminary 1C, Kaludah Ribbon & Jeremy scoring 66.8% and 7th in the preliminary, Kaludah Jeronimo & Christine scoring over 65% in the novice classes and Kaludah Rockefeller & Christine placing in the novice classes.
Our super groom, Alexandria Leppien also had a great day with her horse Rivalyn Alairo with a 5th in the preliminary IC with 68.6% and 6th in the Preliminary ID with 66.3%. These are all fantastic results in very competitive classes.
Thanks to our amazing groom Megan Riley for all her help in making the horses look fabulous on a very busy day!

Our team at North Kaludah have returned from an exceptional four days at the NSW Young Rider Dressage Championships. Christine went with the team to coach, help students warm up and provide support. We are absolutely delighted with the results of all students. Each of Christine’s students placed in a test with outstanding results. The students included Megan Riley (a staff member at North Kaludah), Alex Leppien (also a staff member at North Kaludah), Georgia Leppien, Katrina Millward, Samantha King, Hannah Simmons, Lucy Burt and Jess Douglas.
Results included:
Megan Riley on Argyle (owned by Alexis Hellyer):
These results are outstanding as Megan has only been riding Argyle for a month and has not ridden at FEI level previously.
Alex Leppien on Rivalyn Alairo
Samantha King on Brentwood Moonlight Tango
Sam and Tango scored the highest score of the NSW Young Rider Dressage Championships with 79.5%.

Congratulations to all of the team! Thank you so much for the support from families and friends. Each rider had a great competition with successful results and lots of improvement. We are proud of you all.
Christine was with her students every step of the way though this competition and had designed most of the freestyles. Each of these freestyles won or placed at the state championships. Thank you Christine for your dedication and support at the competition and over the past couple of the weeks/months/years. It is very much appreciated.

The team achieved some excellent results at the recent Alexander Park Dressage Club competition weekend. This club is one of the biggest and most competitive clubs in the New Souths Wales so we were very pleased with our results. They included:
Our staff member, Alex Leppien and her horse Rivalyn Alairo, had a fantastic day placing 2nd and 4th in the huge preliminary classes with scores over 66%. They are now looking forward to the upcoming NSW Young Rider Championships in July. Alex also scored over 66% with Kaludah Glitter.
